The food that we eat passes through our digestive system. This system assists in digesting the food and providing our bodies with the energy and nutrients required to remain healthy and powerful. The way we sit while eating is essential for the digestion of food. It is scientifically called the GI angle or the angle between your stomach and small intestine. This allows for food to pass through our system without issue.

It can also help us have better posture and strengthen the muscles surrounding our gut, which makes digestion much easier for us. Also, a doctor may recommend certain exercises or stretches that aid in the GI angle. They may also suggest dietary changes to alleviate stomach issues and improve digestion. The difference it makes to eat foods that are easier on the stomach is a lot.
